Beauty Tip: Eyebrows

Hi everyone! When I got up this morning and I began thinking of what I would show you guys today. I knew I didn't want it to be nail polish but I did want it to be something with makeup. So, I broke out the video camera and chose eyebrows as my first tutorial for you guys. Simple, easy, and a good way for me to test out recording and uploading!
Here is a before picture of my eyebrows.
And here is a picture after.
    Sorry for the lighting differences!
Like lots of us I have thin spots that need to be filled to create a full appearance and for that I use Avon Ultra Luxury Brow Liner in Blonde. As you will see in the video, very light sweeps with the pencil are made on my eyebrows starting from the inside working my way out. Never use a solid line from inside to outside as it would make a harsh, unrealistic line in your brows.
I use an eyebrow brush after to blend and soften the color as well as remove it from my eyebrow hair. Then to set my brows so they don't move (no one wants crazy "grandpa" eyebrows!). For this I use Avon Brow Gel. In the video you will see I sweep my brows up several times then starting from the arch/middle of my brow, I sweep them to the side following my brow line. You want to have your inner brow up as it makes your eyes look more awake and wide. It may seem funny but it is true! When you sweep the brows up if you have any long ones poking up from your brow line, take some little scissors (I use cuticle scissors which you can get in a cheap manicure set. It may sound odd but the pointy tip really helps to cut those small hairs), and clip the hairs down to your brow line. I have to do this every week or so to maintain my eyebrows and avoid caterpillars. :)
