The Icebeaker Blog!

My first blog post, how intimidating! My love of cosmetics started at 3 when my mother enrolled me in dance and I got to dress up and wear makeup like a princess once a year for our recitals. When I became a preteen I was given the "go ahead" to use makeup daily within reason, of course. I started making my own polish colors when I didn't have what I wanted and/or when we couldn't get the "extras" at that time. Modeling soon followed suit and with it my eyes were opened to the whole world of design and fashion. During that time I was lucky to experience so many things and places I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. I also took several cosmetic classes to fine tune my love. Several years later on this riotous roller coaster the military has us on, I rediscovered my love for polish after stumbling across a polish blog. From there I decided why not set up a blog for a glimpse in my world of beauty?!? I don't just want this blog to be about polish though I am sure the majority will be since I have LOTS of colors to show off. I will also incorporate things that enhance my life from my beauty regiment and provide tips from time to time on application. For those who have asked me in the past what I use here is a little peak to the things I love and yes, many things are Avon and it's not just because I am a rep.... I test out lots of brands' products and what I will show in this blog are truly the ones I use in my life because they are the best I have found! Enjoy!
